Angela Carter’s

February 11, 2012

Angela Carter’s The Bloody Chamber and other stories is an absolutely delightful book, written by one of the most interesting writers of contemporary English literature. In it, Carter interprets the popular tales of The Bloody Chamber, Puss in Boots and some others, like the one titled The Company of Wolves (illustration shown under this lines). The illustrations were made for the annual contest of the House of Illustration, but were never submitted.
